Guidance for employers on controlling risks from chemicals - Interface between Chemicals Agents Directive and REACH at the workplace

The Working Party on Chemicals developed the present guidance for employers concerning the interface between the Chemical Agents Directive (CAD) and REACH. This 16 page document, which was first published in 2010, sets out, step by step, what employers need to do to meet the obligations of REACH and CAD. In particular, it demonstrates that one particular process of assessing risks can often meet the relevant requirements of both REACH and CAD.
