Description

The report is a compilation of literature in the field of carbon nanotubes and deals with occupational exposure, toxicology and protective measures in the work environment. Questions that, according to the assignment, were to be investigated were the exposure situation that exists within the production, processing and handling of products containing carbon nanotubes. A compilation of advice and guidelines for technical occupational safety and personal protective equipment is also presented. The toxicological data available for carbon nanotubes have also been summarized. The purpose of the overview is to provide the Swedish Work Environment Authority with information and basis for various types of measures. The overview can also become a basis if it becomes relevant with special hygienic limit values ​​in the area or other regulations.
