Description

The global event for the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026 will take the form of a virtual event with pre-recorded contributions and will be released on 28 April to launch the global campaign.

The event will present key messages related to psychosocial risks at work and emphasize the role of organizational approaches in strengthening prevention. It will showcase perspectives from the ILO, governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations, and technical experts. 

The event will highlight emerging challenges, policy developments and practical experiences, and will position psychosocial risk prevention as a priority area for advancing the fundamental principle and right to safe and healthy working environments. The event will also provide visibility to upcoming global OSH initiatives, including the World Congress on Safety and Health at Work to be hosted by Senegal in 2027.
