EU-OSHA continues to strengthen occupational safety and health (OSH) in EU candidate countries.
Upcoming initiatives will focus on enhancing inspection capacities, raising awareness on OSH in agriculture, and tackling workplace risks.
On 20 March, a training session in Albania will support the State Labour Inspectorate and Social Service in aligning workplace inspections with EU OSH principles, promoting a preventive approach to reduce accidents.
On 26 March in Montenegro, EU-OSHA will join a panel discussion on OSH in agriculture. The SAGRI – Health and Safety in Agriculture project is funded through EC INTERREG, IPA, and CBC South Adriatic programmes and implemented by a consortium of Italian, Albanian, and Montenegrin representatives.
The 3rd IPA Regional Conference will take place on 9-10 April in Bologna, hosted by Italian national focal point I.N.A.I.L. This event will bring together EU-OSHA, OSH experts, and IPA beneficiaries to exchange knowledge and best practices on preventing safety and health risks related to dust exposure.
