Rome will host the 2026 Festival del Lavoro. The annual event that brings together institutions, companies, professionals, scholars and social partners to reflect on the transformations of work and the policies that can guide the country in the complex transition phase we are experiencing. This year's edition – from 21 to 23 May in the setting of the La Nuvola Congress Center – will address a crucial question: what policies and tools are needed to build a new social pact centered on the person, in an Italy crossed by increasingly rapid digital, ecological and demographic transformations? The debate will develop around three pillars: expanded and generative welfare, the safety and quality of employment, the impact of artificial intelligence on the production system and on labour rights.
