Description

The current EU framework on health and safety at work will end in 2027, therefore Parliament will need to take stock of its implementation and start preparing for the establishment of a new strategic framework post-2027. The EMPL Committee will closely follow the revision of the strategic framework post-2027 and the announced legislative proposals.

The planned hearing will be an important stock-taking exercise in this process and shall bring together experts, relevant stakeholders and social partners, to analyse the impact of the current strategic framework, to identify challenges and discuss necessary updates and improvements to the new strategic framework in line with the evolution of labour markets and in the context of the twin digital and green transitions.
