Enhancing safety for trainees and vocational students with OiRA

A recent survey by EU-OSHA shows that only around half of vocational students felt they received adequate safety training during their traineeships. 

On 14 November, our Finnish focal point Työterveyslaitos is organising a two-part webinar to support vocational educators and host organisations in improving safety practices.

The webinar will focus on simplifying the risk assessment process for schools and clarifying responsibilities between them and host companies, fostering a safer learning environment and collaborative risk management. It will also introduce the Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tools, providing guidance on conducting effective risk assessments without requiring extensive expertise.
