Description

As extreme weather becomes more frequent, the need to protect workers from the physical and psychological effects of heat is more urgent than ever.

An event hosted by our Croatian focal point Ministarstvo rada, mirovinskoga sustava, obitelji i socijalne politike will explore the occupational safety and health (OSH) challenges brought about by rising temperatures and climate change, with particular attention to outdoor and high-heat working environments.

The session will emphasise the importance of coordinated responses to climate-related challenges by sharing the latest scientific findings and best practices, and by promoting the development of preventive strategies.

Targeted at occupational health professionals, environmental experts, policymakers and representatives from sectors with outdoor or heat-intensive work, the event offers a platform for intersectoral collaboration and knowledge exchange.
