Pavojingųjų medžiagų tvarkymo praktinės priemonės ir gairės

Valstybės narės, Europos institucijos, verslo asociacijos, socialiniai partneriai ir kiti dalyviai, siekdami padėti įmonėms atlikti išsamius ir veiksmingus rizikos vertinimus, parengė keletą priemonių ir rekomendacinių dokumentų. Šiose priemonėse pristatomi įvairiausi būdai, kaip veiksmingai valdyti pavojingąsias medžiagas. Dažnai jose aptariami konkretūs darbai, pvz., pripildymas skysčiu ir jo išsiurbimas arba suvirinimo procesai. Kituose ištekliuose pateikiama išsami tam tikrų medžiagų grupių, pvz., jautriklių, apžvalga, arba pabrėžiamos tipinės tam tikruose sektoriuose kylančios grėsmės.

Šiomis priemonėmis padedama ne tik atlikti aukšto lygio rizikos vertinimą, bet ir dažniausiai pateikiami geri praktiniai sprendimai, nurodant, kaip sumažinti riziką įprastose darbo situacijose, kuriose patiriamas pavojingųjų medžiagų poveikis. Taip pat yra priemonių, skirtų konkretiems dalyviams, pvz., darbo inspektoriams, mažosioms ir vidutinėms įmonėms, darbuotojų atstovams ir daugeliui kitų.
