A serious game to explore issues in future scenarios

On the 12th of February, EU-OSHA  organised a “Scenarios Exploration System workshop” on Occupational Safety and Health challenges related to the Circular Economy (CE). The workshop was in the form of a serious game and took place in Bilbao. Participants have been nominated by the network of EU Member States and IPA Focal Points.

The aim of the workshop was to identify the role, needs and opportunities of OSH (in near, medium and long-term future), and exploring options to frame OSH within current and future CE and green policies. This will be done by using and playing the board game “Scenarios Exploration System”, developed by the Policy and Foresight Unit of Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and adapted to the scope of our workshop. 

For this purpose, the results of the EU-OSHA CE foresight project have been use as input to explore together key policy synergies and opportunities to integrate the prevention of OSH challenges associated with the CE into relevant policy fields, and identify key stakeholders.
