En 2017, un programme d’amélioration de la qualité de vie au travail a été lancé dans l’Ehpad Terre-Nègre. Les bénéfices en matière de baisse de sinistralité et d’amélioration des conditions de travail sont nets. A titre d'exemple, le siège de relevage apporte du confort et de la sécurité à la fois aux soignants et à la personne au sol. Les rails font également partie des aides techniques dont s'est équipé l'établissement avec l’aide financière de la Carsat Aquitaine et de l’ARS NouvelleAquitaine.
