Delavnice za delavke v gostinstvu o iskanju rešitev za kostno-mišične težave

Delavci v kuhinjah pogosteje obolevajo za kostno-mišičnimi obolenji, saj dejavnost priprave hrane pogosto vključuje dvigovanje in prenašanje bremen, prisilno držo in izvajanje ponavljajočih se gibov.
V študiji primera, opravljeni na Finskem, so proučevali, kako lahko s pomočjo delavnic za kuhinjsko osebje delavcem pomagamo prepoznati težave in poiskati rešitve za tveganja, povezana s kostno-mišičnimi obolenji. Projekt delavnic se je izvajal pod vodstvom zunanjega strokovnjaka. Obsegal je niz delavnic za 504 kuhinjske delavce.
Udeleženci delavnic so bili pozvani, naj prednostno razvrstijo tveganja, predlagajo rešitve in uvedejo spremembe na svojem delovnem mestu. Posledično so v kuhinjah izvedli več kot 400 ergonomskih sprememb.
