Occupational safety and health legislative framework

In the private sector, occupational safety and health are regulated by the law of 17 June 1994 on workers’ safety and health at work [1] and by the law of 17 June 1994 on occupational health services [2]. These two laws transpose into Luxembourg law Council Framework Directive 89/391/EEC of 12 June 1989 on the introduction of measures to encourage improvements in the safety and health of workers [3].
