What happens when a truck driver gets sick and needs a doctor far from home? The European symposium "Driving health forward" tackles a challenge that affects the heartbeat of our economy: the health, safety and everyday living conditions of long haul drivers who keep Europe moving. What influence do access to medical care and the ability to create safe, healthy living conditions have on the well being of those drivers — and ultimately on road safety?
At the symposium, practical solutions that already make a difference today will be highlighted — from international care services to emerging telemedicine solutions that allow drivers to access medical expertise, even when far from home. Broader health protection programs will be showcased, along with innovative company initiatives that support employees working in cross-border transport. These insights will be shared by expert speakers who bring hands-on experience from across Europe.
