Prevention was no longer restricted to technical and material measures, but also covered the organisation of work, labour conditions, social relations and environmental factors. When the Human Resources Department was implementing its new policy and strategy, it decided to strengthen its ties with the Internal Service for Prevention and Protection.

Targeted fields were: competence management, balance between supply and demand of employees, and safe and motivating labour conditions.
