Għodod u gwida prattiċi dwar sustanzi perikolużi
Ġew żviluppati għadd ta’ għodod u dokumenti ta’ gwida mill-Istati Membri, mill-istituzzjonijiet Ewropej, mill-assoċjazzjonijiet tan-negozju, mis-sħab soċjali u minn atturi oħra biex jgħinu lill-intrapriżi biex jagħmlu valutazzjonijiet komprensivi u effettivi tar-riskju. Dawn l-għodod jirrappreżentaw varjetà wiesgħa ta’ approċċi biex is-sustanzi perikolużi jiġu maniġġjati b’mod effettiv. Ħafna drabi dawn ikopru operazzjonijiet tax-xogħol speċifiċi, bħal pereżempju il-mili u l-ippumpjar ta’ likwidi jew il-proċessi tal-iwweldjar. Sorsi oħra jaħtu ħarsa ġenerali komprensiva ta’ ċerti gruppi ta’ sustanzi bħal pereżempju s-sensitizzaturi, jew jenfasizzaw ir-riskji tipiċi f’ċerti setturi.
Barra minn hekk, apparti li jappoġġjaw valutazzjoni tar-riskju ta’ kwalità għolja, ħafna minn dawn l-għodod jinkludu soluzzjonijiet prattiċi, u jispjegaw kif jitnaqqsu r-riskji f’sitwazzjonijiet tax-xogħol komuni li jinvolvu l-espożizzjoni għas-sustanzi perikolużi.
