Description
A webinar hosted by our Romanian focal point, Institutul Naţional de Cercetare - Dezvoltare pentru Protecţia Muncii ''Alexandru Darabont'' - INCDPM, București, focuses on the realities and challenges of multiculturalism in education.
After a screening of ‘Favoriten’, the Healthy Workplaces Film Award winner in 2024, the event examines the dynamics of a classroom made up of pupils from a wide range of national and cultural backgrounds, showing how respect, joy and understanding can result in a constructive educational environment.
Following the screening, a debate among the attendees (members of the focal point’s national network, representatives from institutions and labour inspection, OSH experts, social partners, educators, academics and psychologists, among others) encourages reflection on the individual and shared responsibilities of pupils and students in building a constructive educational space.
The discussion also addresses psychological dimensions, exploring how multicultural settings offer opportunities for personal growth, skill development and emotional resilience for both children and adults.
