Torna alle notizie relative alla SSLPortugal: Driving innovation and prevention in the construction sector
The second Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Conference in Miranda do Corvo, Portugal, focuses on the construction sector, one of the industries with the highest rates of work-related accidents in the country.
On 15 September, organised by our Portuguese focal point Autoridade para as Condições do Trabalho, the event brings together labour inspectors, OSH experts and academics for knowledge exchange on improving safety and health at construction sites, with particular attention to emergency preparedness.
The programme also examines how technologies like artificial intelligence and building information modelling (BIM) can be integrated into OSH monitoring and management, alongside the use of innovative risk prevention tools.
In this context, EU-OSHA’s Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tools are presented, including the 24 already available in Portugal, among them several designed specifically for the construction sector.
