Description

An event in Romania presents the first findings of the fourth European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks (ESENER 2024), with a focus on occupational safety and health (OSH) management in Romanian workplaces.

Hosted by Institutul Naţional de Cercetare - Dezvoltare pentru Protecţia Muncii ''Alexandru Darabont'' - INCDPM, București, our focal point in the country, and organised as part of a long-running series of national events dedicated to ESENER, the session builds on over a decade of research since the project’s launch in 2009.

Comparative insights with the 2014 and 2019 editions help illustrate long-term trends, drivers and barriers to effective risk prevention. Further presentations address good practices in occupational risk assessment and national OSH statistics, complemented by contributions from company representatives who share their own approaches to managing workplace risks.
