To mark Pride Month, a new EU-OSHA report highlights how workforce diversity shapes exposure to psychosocial risks - and what can be done to prevent them. The findings show how discrimination and inequality, job insecurity and precariousness, a poor social environment and work organisation, result in stress, anxiety and burnout, especially for more vulnerable groups.
The report examines these risks across wide and diverse workforces, including LGBTIQ people, women, migrants, Black and ethnic minority workers, people with disabilities or chronic ill health, younger and older workers, and those with low socioeconomic status.
The publication underscores a clear message: embedding diversity, equality and inclusion into occupational safety and health strategies is essential to create healthier, more resilient workplaces for everyone
