The purpose of competitive tendering for awarding contracts is twofold:

  • To ensure the transparency of operations
  • To obtain the desired quality of services, supplies and work at the best possible price

The applicable regulations, namely Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on public procurement, and Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2024/2509 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union (recast), oblige EU-OSHA to guarantee the widest possible participation, on equal terms, in tender procedures and contracts.

Read about how EU-OSHA processes tenderers’ personal data.

Check the “Open calls” section below, where you will find:

  • Information on how and when to submit a tender for open procedures, once they are formally launched.
  • Advance notices published by EU-OSHA (ex-ante publicity) about upcoming opportunities for low and middle-value negotiated procedures (below €140,000).
