Smart sensors for hazardous gases: smart digital systems for improving workers' safety and health

Many gases are odourless, and inhalation of hazardous chemicals can be fatal. This case study described a smart system for the monitoring of multiple hazardous gases, that is part of an infrastructure connected to a cloud platform. It alerts workers in real time to harmful concentrations. The connection to a cloud platform provides the opportunity to manage these risks in an integrated way.
