A new foresight study examines how climate change and climate action could indirectly affect workers’ safety and health over the next 25 years. It looks beyond immediate risks such as heat stress and focuses on longer‑term transformations and disruptions in working conditions, highlighting how policies and practices may need to evolve in response.
Complementing EU-OSHA’s research on climate change and occupational safety and health and earlier foresight studies, it outlines future scenarios for how the world of work could look in Europe in 2050.
