This foresight study examines the climate change related developments that could (indirectly) affect occupational safety and health (OSH) and the future of work in Europe by 2050.
Drawing on a literature review, stakeholder inputs and scenario development, it explores how consequences of climate chance, from climate action initiatives, technological and social developments to economic transitions may transform workplace risks and OSH systems in the next 10 to 25 years. This includes the introduction of new green technologies, changes in work organisation and increased labour mobility, with implications for policy, prevention and a just transition.
