This case study presents the digital software programme Prevention Process Management System (PPMS), developed in Germany. It affords greater efficiency in monitoring and advisory activities by supporting the planning of company selection and visits and access to updated information.

Use of the PPMS benefits the general prevention work of labour inspectors of statutory accident insurance institutions (UVTs) through reduced travel times and easier communication with competent authorities and data exchange. This translates to improved compliance behaviour within companies.
