Portugal enhancing occupational safety and health compliance with new technological tools (Case PT3)

This case study explores how technological tools developed by the Portuguese Authority for Working Conditions are having a positive impact on OSH. Tools such as digital simulators, a chatbot and a mobile app, seen as innovative and efficient, are regarded as good practice for employers and workers.

Labour inspectors promote these tools for providing information on employment and labour rights. Their use reinforces action within the scope of the Decent Work Agenda and can be transferred, with adaptation, to other European countries.
