9 May - Europe Day, because Europe is there for you!

2015 Europe Day 9th May marks the 65 anniversary of the 'Schuman declaration' and the historical start of European integration. The European Union is working for a stronger Europe in the world and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) contributes to making Europe a safer, healthier and more productive place to work.

This 9th May, EU-OSHA is going out into Bilbao to raise awareness on the importance of effectively managing stress and psychosocial risks at the workplace through its Europe-wide campaign Healthy Workplaces Manage Stress . You can support #EUmanagestress with us following @EU_OSHA social channels.

Outstanding examples of workplace stress management celebrated at Riga awards ceremony

On 27 April 2015, the eve of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards ceremony has been held at the Latvian Presidency Conference on Occupational Safety and Health in Riga. Eleven innovative and outstanding examples of psychosocial risks and stress management were awarded, from organisations of different sizes and sectors throughout Europe. The awards have helped demonstrate the success of the Healthy Workplaces Manage Stress campaign at the workplace level.
