A veces me entra tristeza, otras veces rebelión (Sometimes Sadness, Sometimes Rebellion) by María Aparicio (Argentina, Spain, 2026) has won the Healthy Workplaces Film Award 2026. The award, presented at Doclisboa, recognises films that raise awareness of workplace risks and inspire action for safer, healthier and more sustainable workplaces.

According to the jury, Aparicio's 101-minute documentary is “neither sad, nor rebellious for the sake of it, it claims storytelling and art as a way of being present in the world”.

Chosen from a shortlist of nine films exploring themes such as mental wellbeing, precariousness, migration and women's rights, Sometimes Sadness, Sometimes Rebellion stood out for its ability to bring to light the lives that unfold around us, often unseen, if only we take the time to look and listen.
