Summary - Work-related cardiovascular disease prevention: regulations, policies, strategies and initiatives

The report reviews selected European and international policies, strategies and programmes on work-related cardiovascular diseases. It also explores key occupational risk factors that shape cardiovascular health at work and analyses prevention, return-to-work and retention-at-work measures across 20 initiatives and five case studies. It identifies the need for sector-based risk assessment, sustainable funding and stronger integration of cardiovascular health into occupational safety and health policies.
