Estonia: Psychosocial risk prevention – strategies and legislation

This country report outlines legislation and implementation measures in Estonia to enhance prevention of psychosocial risks (PSRs) at work. Field research and interviews included a wide range of national stakeholders playing a role in occupational safety and health. While progress has been made in recent years, findings reveal that more attention must be directed to systematic PSR prevention rather than mental health. Additionally, SMEs and micro-enterprises need specific support to comply with relevant legislation and to increase competencies regarding prevention of work-related PSRs.
