This country report explores national approaches to work-related psychosocial risks (PSRs) in Belgium. It is based on field research and interviews with a wide range of national stakeholders and social partners playing an important role in occupational safety and health and PSR prevention.
Belgium has developed a comprehensive system with various levels of support, intervention possibilities, and a wide range of tools available for companies. Study findings highlight the Belgian approach as advanced on how to tackle these issues in a holistic and proactive way. The research also points to areas for further developments such as decreasing complexity.
