Circular Economy and Occupational Safety and Health: Policy Pointers and Actions for Key Stakeholders


Important EU policy changes are complementing initiatives aimed at more environmentally sustainable practices. The process of transition towards the implementation of the circular economy will inevitably have implications for jobs as well as occupational safety and health (OSH).

This policy brief offers specific stakeholders policy pointers and actions that emerged from the EU-OSHA foresight study on the circular economy and its possible effects on OSH. It also provides an overview of principal green initiatives at the EU level that support cross-policy dissemination.
