On 15 June 2026, EU-OSHA welcomed a delegation comprising, among others, representatives from the Taiwan Ministry of Labor and the Taiwan Occupational Safety and Health Administration to its headquarters in Bilbao, Spain.
Following opening remarks by Taiwan's Minister of Labor, Sun-Han Hung, Director-General of Taiwan-OSHA, Yu-Tang Lin, and EU-OSHA Executive Director William Cockburn, discussions focused on key occupational safety and health (OSH) issues.
EU-OSHA Senior Research Project Manager Maurizio Curtarelli participated in discussions on the impact of climate change on OSH, while Vibe Westh, Head of the Prevention and Research Unit, joined an exchange on an integrated framework for rehabilitation and return to work following occupational diseases.
The meeting concluded with both sides expressing interest in further collaboration to promote safer and healthier workplaces.
