The Senior Labour Inspectors Committee (SLIC) has published a new guide to help labour inspectors carry out inspections related to asbestos. The guide aims to contribute to the protection of workers from the health risks associated with occupational exposure to asbestos.

Adding to the European Commission guidelines, recently published, this non-binding document provides practical information and guidance to support inspections focused on preventing workers’ exposure to asbestos in the workplace.
