Our new report synthesises evidence from multiple national studies to provide a critical overview of how labour inspectorates and prevention services support occupational safety and health (OSH) compliance.

Based on country reports - including 31 case studies from Germany, Ireland, Norway, Poland and Portugal - it identifies common patterns, innovative practices and shared challenges, and emphasises the role of innovation in addressing emerging OSH risks.

As the final output of EU-OSHA’s ’Supporting Compliance’ OSH overview project launched in 2020, the report presents key findings to guide policy and practice across the European Economic Area (EEA).
