Polish sector prevention and inspection programmes: supporting occupational safety and health compliance (Case PL5)

Poland’s State Labour Inspection (PIP) body has implemented various horizontal activities targeting improved inspections and promotional activities to ensure occupational safety and health compliance. This case study presents the latest: ‘Preventative and Control Strategy for the Construction Industry’.

The initiative focused on increased supervision and controls on safety-critical construction sites and the campaign ‘Construction. STOP Accidents!’ PIP’s strategy offers valuable insights and potentially transferable practices for other EU Member States in various sectors.
