Occupational safety and health as a key factor for attracting new personnel

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected expectations and attitudes regarding occupational safety and health (OSH) and related policies and practices. Because of this, OSH has a greater role to play in recruiting new personnel and job seekers.
This discussion paper presents changes in recruitment and HR overall, particularly employees’ preferred ways of searching for jobs and how their expectations and attitudes towards employers have been transformed.
It analyses how OSH can be a key element of employer branding and recruiting the right candidates. Lastly, recommendations are put forward based on the results and topics discussed.
