A new policy brief by SafeHabitus highlights policy recommendations to improve the mental health and wellbeing of farmers and farm workers in the EU.
Workers in this sector are often exposed to long working hours, climate change impacts, financial pressures, and social isolation. For each recommendation, the policy brief outlines a set of actions and measures designed to protect both food security and the wellbeing of the people who make it possible.
SafeHabitus is a research and innovation project aimed at making agriculture safer, healthier and more socially sustainable across Europe.
