How can Europe better protect the health of long-haul truck drivers working far from home?

On 3 June 2026, a European symposium organised by the ISSA Section on Prevention in Transportation, in collaboration with BG Verkehr, will bring participants together in Hamburg, Germany, to discuss solutions to improve access to healthcare and support safer, healthier living and working conditions across borders.

Bringing together experts and practitioners from across Europe, the event will highlight practical approaches already in use, from international care services and telemedicine to company initiatives aimed at supporting drivers on the road.

The symposium will take place in person and via live stream, with German and English interpretation.

Registration deadlines: 2 May 2026 for in-person participation and 28 May 2026 for online attendance.
