Description

A seminar hosted by our focal point in Cyprus, Department of Labour Inspection, Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance, aims to raise awareness on current trends and best practices in occupational safety and health (OSH).

The session begins with a statistical analysis of occupational accidents in the country in 2024, followed by a presentation on recent developments in the regulation of chemical products in the EU.

Speakers also focus on practical and regulatory aspects of workplace safety, with an emphasis on the role and responsibilities of OSH coordinators in construction projects and on the importance of risk assessments.

The event concludes with a discussion offering participants the opportunity to raise questions and identify strategies to improve the effectiveness of prevention services.
