Prevention services role in supporting occupational safety and health compliance in Poland

Poland has two types of prevention services related to occupational safety and health (OSH): OSH services/experts and occupational health services (OHS). This policy brief focuses on the role and function of prevention services in these two areas.

It offers information on their scope of activities as a crucial element of the country’s OSH prevention system. It further highlights the challenges these services face, including the domination of SMEs, which have limited resources, demand on human resources, new forms of work, and whether experts or generalists in OHS are needed.
