KoBrA – a collaborative approach to improving OSH in care and nursing

Based on inter-organisational cooperation among stakeholders, the KoBrA initiative has significantly advanced occupational safety and health in care settings. It has also helped improve risk assessment practices with digital tools, and it has potential for transfer to other regions.

This case study highlights the importance of fostering strong relationships and adapting to emerging issues and adequate financial resources. Barriers to overcome include closing the gap between stationary and ambulatory care providers and coordinating stakeholders with differing priorities.
