Artificial intelligence for worker management: implications for occupational safety and health
Keywords:This report highlights the risks and opportunities of occupational safety and health-related to artificial intelligence-based worker management (AIWM) systems. The research and findings are supported by data analysis of the Third European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks and in-depth expert interviews.
The study also explores possible prevention measures, emphasising the need for human-centred and ‘prevention through design’ approaches to ensure workers’ health, safety and wellbeing. A set of recommendations are presented to address risks related to the usage of AIWM systems in the workplace.
