The latest report by our official campaign partner PEROSH dives deep into how artificial intelligence (AI) and algorithmic management (ALMA) are changing the way we work, and what that it means for our safety, autonomy, and mental health.

EU-OSHA contributed as advisers to the ALMA-AI project, which looks at this new form of work organisation through the lens of occupational safety and health.

The study shows that, while ALMA can improve efficiency, may also harm mental health: if not designed with care, algorithms tend to make work more intense, reduce autonomy, and put workers’ wellbeing at risk.
