Eurogip is an organisation which offers resources on occupational safety and health (OSH) related matters such as accidents at work and diseases.

It runs a series of online interviews and discussions providing an OSH European perspective through the testimony of experts. The last episode of these discussions has been dedicated to OSH risks management at EU work during heatwaves.

EU-OSHA’s senior OSH and policy specialist, Elke Schneider, took part in the episode, presenting EU-OSHA’s projects and resources. These include the multilingual ‘Heat at work’ guide, aimed at employers and workers, with practical guidance to reduce and manage occupational heat-related risks. Also, the new online OiRA tool on managing heat and cold at work, currently under development. EU-OSHA’s Executive Director, William Cockburn, was also interviewed for the 1st episode of the series.
