Description

With rising temperatures across Europe, protecting workers from heat has become an increasing priority. Many EU Member States have already developed or are currently developing measures to improve protection at workplaces. This workshop will provide an opportunity for EU member states (governments and social partners) to learn from each other about effective approaches to heat protection at workplaces. The focus will be on

• Heat Health Action Plans for companies
• Heat warning systems and digital tools
• Awareness-raising initiatives to protect workers from heat

Speakers from various EU member states will present their projects and share their practical experience. Contributions from Italy, Spain, Finland, Austria, Germany and EU-OSHA have already been confirmed. As there will be a strong focus on discussion, we warmly invite other countries to share their perspectives as well.
