The Lithuanian Ergonomics Association is celebrating their 10th anniversary and organising a conference together with State Labour Inspectorate/ Valstybinė darbo inspekcija in Vilnius next 28 April.

This international event will explore the intersection of digital technologies and ergonomics, with a focus on workers’ safety and health in the digital age.

The conference covers a range of topics, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on workplaces and the question of who has the responsibility for injuries caused by robots.

Participants will also learn from experts in occupational safety and health (OSH) from Latvia, Estonia and Hungary, who will share their experiences and insights on the effects of increased digitalisation on workers’ ergonomic health.

Additionally, the conference will feature a debate session and discussion amongst conference attendees from a variety of industries, providing an excellent opportunity to share experiences and gain new ideas.

Such events are key to shaping the future of work and are in line with EU-OSHA's upcoming 2023-25 Safe and healthy work in the digital age campaign.
