On 26 March 2025, EU-OSHA participated in the conference organised by the SAGRI project, co-funded under the INTERREG and the IPA South Adriatic programmes, to raise awareness on OSH risks in agriculture

The conference titled "The Use of Techniques and Tools for Occupational Safety and Health in Agriculture", organised within the framework of the EC funded INTERREG and IPA South Adriatic programmes, served as a platform for dialogue between policymakers, experts, industry representatives, and the Academia, enabling information and knowledge exchange as well as a basis for concrete solutions to improve OSH in the agricultural sector.

The event was organised between 25 and 27 March, and included field visits in rural areas. EU-OSHA had the possibility to participate during the second day, by taking part in a panel titled “European approaches to health and safety in agriculture”, together with national representatives from the Biotechnology faculty, from the directorate of Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture, and from the Institute of Public Health.
