Worker Survey on Exposure to Cancer Risk Factors
Keywords:This project overview introduces a new and innovative survey on workers’ exposure to cancer risk factors in Europe. There is a lack of reliable and comparable EU-level data on workplace exposure to cancer risk factors, and the new survey will aim to fill this information gap on one of the biggest work-related health problems in Europe.
The survey will follow the model of the Australian Workplace Exposures Study, using a web-based application to assess occupational exposures based on workers’ tasks (OccIDEAS). It will initially be carried out in a broadly representative selection of six EU Member States, with the first findings expected in 2023.
