Third European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks (ESENER 3)

Keywords:

This report presents the first analysis of the main findings and conclusions of the third edition of EU-OSHA’s ESENER survey, carried out in 2019. Over 45,000 establishments in 33 countries were asked about their current management of occupational safety and health (OSH), including the main drivers of and barriers to effective management and worker participation.

The survey focuses particularly on the management of psychosocial risks — such as work-related stress and harassment — and also includes questions on digitalisation. By taking a holistic view of current OSH practices across Europe, the results of the survey aim to help inform new OSH policies and ensure that risks in European workplaces are managed more effectively.
